What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The app does not offer the ability to create an account, hence, we do not retain or access your files and data. Your data remains solely stored locally on your device, with encryption handled on-device. In instances where you reach out for support via email or our customer support form, we collect your email address solely for the purpose of providing assistance, gathering feedback, or sharing pertinent information with you. You also can allow us to send log files when reporting bug from the application. Logs that sent to us may include: android version and model, system language and language selected for the app, memory taken by Hovka application, available memory on device, list of internal events (such as changing security or other settings, creating folders, uploading files) that DOES NOT contain any personal information such as: file names or file content. These logs may help us to investigate the problem you are facing with and provide rapid help to you. Including log files optional and you do not obliged to sent them.
Analytics
Our application may gather anonymised usage data crucial for delivering and enhancing our services, as well as understanding user needs. This data encompasses metrics like app launches, taps, clicks, scrolling behaviour, in-app purchases, screen visits, session durations, and other interactions within the app. Rest assured, these data are fully anonymised and aggregated, devoid of any personal identifiers. Additionally, the app may collect crash and performance reports to enhance stability and performance. It's important to note that our application does not collect any user-generated content, such as names, surnames, emails, photos, names of files you have uploaded, files content or any other personal information. Any files stored within the app remain entirely private and under your control.
Photos and videos
You can optionally upload files from a device gallery such as photos or videos. Any files you upload to application will be stored locally in in-app special memory and encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption algorithm. Key used for encryption is unique for each user so we physically cannot decrypt your files even if you ask for it when forgot the password to storage. We also have no access to your photos, videos or other files on your device since we don’t ask for the “All files access” android permission. Application receive one-time read access to files when you upload ones from system file picker.

We use the following third-party services for our Android app:
Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Inc.)
- This service helps us to collect and analyze usage data in order to understand usage patterns and to improve our Android app.
- Data collected: various usage and device data such as cookies, unique device identifiers, Android Advertising ID, Firebase installation IDs, Analytics App Instance IDs, usage data, anonymised IP addresses, session durations, device models, operating systems, geography, in-app purchases, first launches, app opens, app updates
- Data retention: 2 months
Firebase Crashlytics (Google Inc.)
- This service helps us to identify crashes and errors in our app. It helps us to improve the reliability and stability of our Android app.
- Data collected: Crashlytics Installation UUIDs, crash traces, device models, geography, operating system info
- Data retention: 90 days
